Welcome to Week 4!
Over the weekend, we’ve been busy behind the scenes with our Confirmation Workshops, led by our Sacramental Coordinator, Fran Beale, supported by our Yr 6 teachers and the Leadership Team and presented by Stephen Harris. We thank both Fran and Stephen for their commitment and hard work in preparing our students for this important milestone.
We’re also excited to share some staffing updates.
Bethany Would will be taking over Year 6B for the remainder of the year – congratulations Bethany! We are thrilled to have you on board at St Simon Peter.
In turn, Owen Ngo will take over Bethany’s Science teaching role until the end of Term 3. We warmly welcome Owen to this new position.
Communication Update
We continue to look for ways to improve communication between the school and our families. Unfortunately, our recent survey did not capture enough responses to give us a clear picture. We’ll be sending out another survey soon and encourage all families to participate so your voice can be heard.
A big thank you to the 15 families who have already responded — your feedback is greatly appreciated.
Parent Parking Reminder
Please do not park on the corner of Santiago Parkway and Yangala Close, as this is considered illegal parking. We appreciate your cooperation in helping keep our school community safe and ensuring smooth traffic flow during drop-off and pick-up.
Upcoming Break Reminder
A reminder that students will have a break from Friday, 30th May through to Tuesday, 3rd June. We hope this time provides a restful opportunity for families.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Wednesday, 4th June.
Warm regards
Clodagh Manifold
Short Term Principal
