Website Update and Traffic Management Guidelines
You may have noticed recent changes to our website, including a refreshed look and feel on the homepage. This update is part of our ongoing efforts to improve school documentation and processes.
In response to feedback regarding our traffic management information, we have revised the guidelines to ensure they are clearer and easier to understand. You can access the updated version via the link below.
Thank you for your continued support.
Signage Update: Supporting Daily School Operations
We are currently updating and redesigning signage across the school to better support daily routines and guide all visitors and staff. This includes clearer instructions around parking areas and the use of the Kiss and Drive zones. See below for two such examples linked directly to our traffic management plan.

These improvements aim to enhance safety, efficiency, and overall experience for our school community and as a visual reminder of the processes that we have in place in our school. We appreciate your attention to the updated signage as it is rolled out.
Important Update: Use of Personal Devices on School Grounds
Recent amendments to child care legislation now restrict the use of personal devices in designated care areas by adults employed in the service, as well as any individuals entering the school in a professional capacity — including therapists and external providers.
Our staff have been briefed on their responsibilities under these new regulations. We kindly ask that you share this information with any professionals or service providers who operate on your behalf within our school. We will remind these outside providers when they next visit the school.
For parents and visitors, the key change relates to video calls while on school premises. To ensure compliance, we kindly ask that you refrain from making video calls anywhere on school grounds.
Additionally, if you are recording a performance or activity at the school, please avoid sharing the footage online, as it may include individuals whose privacy requirements you may not be aware of.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Warm regards
Peter Cutrona
Principal

Read LessNurturing Spirituality in Early Childhood at SSP
At St Simon Peter, we believe that early childhood learning and spirituality are deeply intertwined. For our young learners, spiritual development encompasses their growing sense of self, empathy, wonder, and connection to others and the world around them.
We nurture this holistic growth through meaningful play, strong relationships, exploration of nature, and engagement with diverse stories and cultures. These experiences help children develop important virtues such as compassion, resilience, and a sense of belonging, laying the foundation for lifelong wellbeing and purpose.
Read LessNext term, all students will be required to wear the formal Summer uniform and black formal shoes. As we continue the transition to our new uniform, please note that the stock of the current Summer dresses is limited and no further orders will be placed. Once the existing stock is sold out, girls will begin transitioning to the skirt or skort (as it becomes available) and wear the beige shirt for both Summer and Winter.
Please be assured that the Summer dress will remain part of our approved uniform until the end of 2027. This gradual phase-out is part of the standard process when introducing a new uniform.
Thank you for your understanding and support during this transition.
Planning to Leave SSP at the End of 2025
