The information last Friday that we were returning into lockdown and were to spend this week working with masks was approached in an extremely positive manner by everyone. Students, staff and parents have approached the changes extremely well and we thank everyone for doing their bit to follow the expectations put in place during this current period.
One important request for everyone at this time is to ensure that if your children are unwell that they do not attend school. We have a number of students and staff who are medically vulnerable. It is everyone's responsibility to do the right thing and stay at home if you are unwell, especially those who have fevers or cold symptoms.

Our Year 6 students attended camp last week at Ern Halliday Recreation Camp. A huge thank you to our camp coordinator, Mrs Sparkes, and the Year 6 team, together with our parent volunteers for all their hard work to enable our students to enjoy this memorable experience.
On Thursday evening we had a beautiful Liturgy celebrated by Fr Mariusz. We used this time to reflect on our gifts and talents and to thank the teachers and parents for making this special event happen.
Our Year 6's are now officially "LEAVERS". Their Leavers' shirts have arrived and they were all excited to wear them for the first time today. They look sensational in the new design for 2021.

The 50th anniversary will be celebrated alongside the 200th Anniversary of Catholic education in Australia, with ‘Faith in the Future”. We have sent home the prayer card received from the National Catholic Education Commission with each student.

Please note, if the weather is inclement, we will have to cancel as due to COVID restrictions we cannot have large adult numbers indoors.
