Today we celebrated the beginning of the Church’s season of Lent with a Liturgy in the School Hall. 
The ashes that were placed on the students' forehead today are a symbol to remind us that during Lent we are trying to grow more like Jesus.  The cross is a sign to remind us that Jesus gave himself for others, we need to do the same.
