Semester 1 Student Reports – Friday 4 July

On Friday 4 July, Semester 1 student reports will be uploaded to SEQTA ENGAGE, and parents will be able to access them. Please ensure you can log in to your SEQTA ENGAGE account ahead of time so you’re ready to view your child’s report.

The Semester One report provides an overview of your child’s progress across Terms One and Two. It highlights how they are performing and whether they are on track for their year level. This is a valuable opportunity for both parents and students to reflect on the learning journey so far—celebrating achievements and identifying areas for growth and improvement.

We are proud of our students at St Simon Peter School. They have shown dedication and effort in working towards their goals. We look forward to seeing continued progress and success in Semester Two.

On Tuesday, 24th June, our students represented themselves, their families, and our school with outstanding behaviour and fair play at the interschool cross-country event. Their efforts were truly commendable.

Thank you to the staff and families who supported the event and assisted with training in the lead-up. A special thanks to Mr Pettit for his excellent coordination and dedication in organising this event for our school.

NAIDOC Week will take place during the school holidays, from Saturday, 6 July to Saturday, 13 July. This important week is a time to celebrate the history, culture, and achievements of First Nations peoples.

NAIDOC Week is observed not only in First Nations communities but also by Australians from all walks of life. It’s a chance for everyone to learn more about and show respect for the rich heritage and ongoing contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

To find out more about NAIDOC Week and how you can get involved, visit the official website: www.naidoc.org.au

Term 2 concludes on Friday, 4 July, and we extend our thanks to all students, parents, carers, staff, parish, and community members for your contributions throughout the term. Your support helps make SSP the supportive and caring community it is.  We wish all SSP families a wonderful holiday break. This is a time to rest, recharge, and enjoy meaningful moments together.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for Term Three on Tuesday, 22nd July.

Loving God,
As we come to the end of a busy and fruitful semester,
we thank You for the learning, growth, and friendships we’ve shared.
Bless our students, families, and staff with a safe and restful holiday.
May this break be a time of joy, renewal, and togetherness.
Help us to appreciate the simple moments,
to reconnect with loved ones,
and to return refreshed and ready for the new term ahead.

Amen.

Warm regards
