Principal Message
On August 15, Catholic communities celebrate the Feast of the Assumption, honouring the belief that Mary was taken body and soul into heaven. This day is a Holy Day of Obligation, meaning Catholics are called to attend Mass, just as they would on a Sunday, and our students will attend a 9am mass together with our parish.
In Catholic schools across Australia, including ours, this feast is a time to reflect on Mary’s faith, humility, and trust in God. Her Assumption reminds us of the hope we have in eternal life and the importance of living with love and purpose. As a school, we gather in prayer and celebration, inspired by Mary’s example and her role as a model of discipleship.
To ensure the safety and smooth flow of traffic around our school, we remind families that parking in the Kiss and Drop zones is not permitted between 8:00–9:00am and after 2:30- 3:30pm. These areas are for quick drop-offs and pick-ups only. Parking during these times causes congestion and poses safety risks.
Additionally, ACROD bays are reserved for vehicles displaying a valid ACROD permit. These bays support members of our community with mobility needs, and it’s essential they remain accessible at all times.
