We were thrilled to share last week that St Simon Peter Catholic Primary School has received a Quality Catholic Education Award—a wonderful recognition of the care and commitment shown by our school community.

This award highlights the initiative led by our parents and staff throughout 2025 to create a welcoming and supportive environment for families with children who have a disability. Out of 117 nominations across eight categories, being selected is a true honour.

A special thank you to Fiona Green, whose leadership and thoughtful submission brought this project to life. Her work reflects the strength of the group and the support they offer one another.

We also congratulate our neighbours at Prendiville Catholic College, who received the Secondary Community Award for their inspiring project.

Over the next few weeks you will note upgrades at the front of the school, especially around the main entrance to the school admin. This may require you to take a detour to enter the school on Thursday 20 and Friday 21 November. We will ensure that there is appropriate signage to assist you during this short period. 

Please reserve Tuesday, 25 November, at 6 pm for the Annual Community Meeting. We will present annual reports from both the CSAC and FSSP, as well as information regarding teacher placements and school fees for 2026.
