Medical and Illness Protocols

St Simon Peter Catholic Primary School has Medical/Illness Protocols in place to ensure the health and safety of all students, staff, and visitors.

These protocols help prevent the spread of illnesses within the school community by ensuring that children who are unwell stay home until they are no longer contagious. This reduces the risk of outbreaks and helps maintain a healthy learning environment. Additionally, having clear guidelines allows the school to respond appropriately in case of medical emergencies and ensures that all students receive the necessary care and attention. These are not a definitive list but a guideline to help parents make informed decisions regarding their child.

If you have any questions, please contact our school nurse via email or phone ssp.nurse@cewa.edu.au  or 0893016848
