St Simon Peter Catholic Primary School is supported by the Catholic School Advisory Council. Members of the Catholic School Advisory Council are elected from the school and parish community at the Annual General Meeting held each year in November. The Terms of Reference are located on the website. All members of the Catholic School Advisory Council are to abide by the Code of Conduct.
The Catholic School Advisory Council works together with the Principal and staff to provide a faith-based education with a school environment that is welcoming, safe and supportive for the students and families. The Catholic School Advisory Council in conjunction with the Principal assists with the future development of the school and the students including the financial administration associated with the function of the school.
The Catholic School Advisory Council comprises of the Principal, Parish Priest (ex officio member), and elected persons from the school community who meet during the year as prescribed by the calendar.
